Bridal Spring/Summer '21
For its Spring 2021 White Collection, Galvan draws inspiration from the ideal of the fresh faced bride, whose radiant complexion and flashes of bare skin outshine all other embellishment.
Clean silhouettes and architectural lines beautifully frame shoulders, reveal ankles, or create a striking décolletage. Crisp white crepes and lush silks, elegant in their simplicity, draw attention to the beauty of nude skin. Subtle shimmering details - soft organza sleeves scattered with dainty crystals, or a bodice of pleated velvet - create a glowing aura without ever overpowering the body beneath. These are clothes that put the bride herself at the centre of attention.
As with every Galvan White Collection, there are styles for all occasions: sweeping gowns for formal affairs, chic suits for civil ceremonies, light-hearted party dresses for moonlit dancing. Fabrics transcend seasons, allowing for a versatility and rewearability that is increasingly important. Presented during this time of reflection, as our lives become pared down and priorities are reassessed, the notion of 'less is more' has never rung truer.
Galvan’s celebration of the fresh-faced bride strips away layers and excess, creating purity and radiance through simplicity.
